I had my second date Friday evening with “Verisimilitude”. He cooked dinner, gave me a super awesome massage, and then we had a little hot tub time. It was a nice night, and he’s a nice guy. I’m just not sure that we are poly compatible. My Spidey senses tell me that he’s more about having fun and by fun, I mean lots of fucking. Sex is awesome! but I really need a deep, comfortable connection with someone before we get to the sex part. And that connection can be formed in an instance or over time. I don’t feel that “instant” comfort and chemistry with “Verisimilitude”. Also, I think that I would like to find someone who kills two birds with one stone, so to speak. Combining my affinity for alternate sexuality and polyamorous.

It’s been a fairly relaxed weekend. Yesterday morning, Becca treated ze German and I to breakfast in exchange for dog sitting Eliza until this evening. I woke with this need to cook and create so, after breakfast (which was more like brunch) I hit the Giant. The result, a Spiced Rum Cake with a Butter Rum Glaze and a Pepperoni and Mozzarella Pull Apart Bread. They were a hit at Ondine’s party.

Pepperoni and Mozzarella Pull Apart Bread

Time for some Doctor Who. There won’t be a Nightstand Post this week. I haven’t had a whole lot of time for reading, even short online articles and it seems that I’ve gone into my very slow reading phases. Takes me forever to read book, no attention span kind of phases. It happens.
